The room was clean and the shower was excellent, which is always important. the peacefulness at night was a plus for a good night's sleep.
There were quite a lot of negatives. the plumbing in the bathroom was a mess, emitting foul smells and making strange noises throughout the night, constantly waking me up.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable for anyone visiting the Spain-Gibraltar border. It is just a short walk from the border crossing and the bus station, making it the perfect base for exploring both areas. Additionally, the views from the room were spectacular, especially of the iconic rock.
My stay at this hotel had several drawbacks. Firstly, the room was in dire need of renovation, with thin walls that made it impossible to sleep due to noise from neighboring rooms.

Location superb, perfect for crossing the border. The bed was very comfortable and I had a view of the rock. The little kitchen was handy for tea and coffee making, with a fridge and appliances. At the price, it was good value for money.
There were some bits of things broken or unfinished in the room, like the foam mousse holding in the air con unit and a broken wooden box on the wall. The shower tray drain cover was loose and allowed a gurgling sound to come out whenever someone flushed a toilet.

The location was great, just a short walk from the border crossing and the bus station. It was really convenient for exploring the nearby attractions. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay. The view of the surrounding area was also a major highlight, offering beautiful scenery that added to the overall experience.
There were a few downsides to the stay. The plumbing in the bathroom was quite problematic, emitting foul smells and making strange noises throughout the night, which was quite disturbing.
